Our construction company is currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Commercial Handyman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction maintenance and various trades, including but not limited to light plumbing, light electrical, framing, drywall finishing, painting, flooring, and doors and hardware. Mechanical inclination is also a key requirement for this role.
We are looking for a multi-talented individual who can proficiently handle diverse tasks and contribute to all aspects of our commercial projects.
Requirements:
Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
Diagnose and repair/install plumbing problems
Diagnose and complete minor electrical repairs include replacing lighting fixtures, socket outlets, or light switches. They also try to troubleshoot minor electrical issues, such as blown fuses.
General commercial building repairs and maintenance.
Install and replace floors, stairs and piping
Ability to install and complete drywall finishes
General Painting skills
Install ceilings, doors and hardware
Assembly/Installation of furniture and cabinetry
Installation of minor appliances
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems
Manage use of forklifts and other commercial lifts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors
Punctual, Reliable and a strong work ethic
Communicate job status, issues, and recommendations to management daily by accurate and timely reports/documentation
Adhere to safety protocols and operate vehicles and equipment safely
Dedication to providing clients unmatched satisfaction
Valid Driver's License and a clean Driving Record
