Accounting Clerk

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance and operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), QuickBooks, bank/account reconciliations, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and process daily AR and AP transactions in QuickBooks
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and company ledgers monthly
Prepare and issue customer invoices and process vendor payments
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Track, reconcile, and adjust inventory levels in coordination with warehouse and sales teams
Post and verify inventory adjustments, cost of goods sold (COGS), and related entries in QuickBooks
Monitor purchase orders, receipts, and returns to ensure accurate inventory reporting
Support internal audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Hands-on experience with AR/AP, reconciliations, and inventory tracking
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting principles
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
Experience in a distribution, wholesale, or logistics environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
