We are a solutions-driven property management company, managing a portfolio of commercial real estate properties (office).

Job Description

Provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate recording of accounts payables and receivables under control.

Performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Verify and approve invoices for payments

Pay vendors timely

Record tenant payments

Follow up, research and solve discrepancies

Carry out billing and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

Perform account and bank reconciliations

Generate aging analysis

Assist Property Accountants and Accounting Department as needed

Prepare bank deposits

Investigate and resolve customers/vendors queries

Extensive communication with accounting, leasing, and property management personnel

Work closely with property accounting in Yardi billing

Other duties as assigned

Education

College level Accounting classes or Accounting degree

Completion of certified accounting courses

Qualifications

Accounting software - YARDI experience a PLUS

2-3 years hands-on Accounting experience - AR AP Accounting EXPERIENCE

Computer/Software skills: Excel. Word, PDF, etc.

Skills

Good math skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently

Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers

Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic

Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment

Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment

Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction

Ability to understand, interpret commercial lease terminology and bill and apply lease charges, payments and credits.

Ability to work independently to manage multiple locations while meeting strict deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Strong organization skills.

Compensation

$60k - $68k per year
