Designs and fabricates equipment that be used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware.

Fabricating electro-mechanical assemblies (and sub-assemblies) to Engineering drawings.

Read blueprints and create custom metal chassis. and must be able to determine the metal stretch with respect to the metal type and bend radius required.

Provide the opportunity for the candidate to work as individual contributor, in a team environment.

Collaborating with Engineers, and other members of the Fabrication team including other Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors.

Daily activity would include not only a fast-paced fabrication environment, but it would also include using several computer based programs that will update job status, Quality Inspections, and Engineering changes.

May have the opportunity to work CNC Machines and Lathes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a US Citizen

3 year of experience in sheet metal fabrication environments.

Must be able to read blueprints and create custom metal chassis.

Must be able to determine the metal stretch with respect to the metal type and bend radius required.

Ability to fabricate test equipment designs from a blueprint of the layout, schematic, bill of material, and engineering practices manual as guidelines.

Ability to communicate issues with the design and or the process requirements to management and or design engineers.
