Description: Works in the Production Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy, or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.Individuals could be assigned to Program or Manufacturing Operations.Program Planning:The individual will be responsible for the oversight of one or more of the various elements of program planning for the Fire Control or Tact program(s) including the release of purchase orders to Supply Chain Management for materials needed for the program. This position could include monitoring engineering changes and creation/updates to bills of material. Monitoring production schedules from various manufacturing centers here in Orlando as well as Ocala.Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required.Manufacturing Planning:The individual will fill the requirement for a Factory Operations Manufacturing or Make Planner in one of four Production Operations Centers. Responsibilities will include scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies. Status and reporting of manufacturing build. Effective management of kit issues and fulfillment of hardware needs to support manufacturing build. Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes.
