Advanced Manufacturing Test Engineer (Salary Range: $120,000/yr-$125,000/yr): Design, develop, upgrade, and deploy production test systems. Define test cases based on the product specifications. Work with design engineering to collect, analyze, and document product specifications and requirements to determine test cases to implement in the Manufacturing test system. Design and develop test software code using National Instruments LabVIEW for automated, semi-automated, and manual test systems. Develop test plans, test specifications, and station-related documents such as drawings, bill of materials (BOM), test coverage reports, and total productive maintenance (TPM) plans in compliance with automotive test standards. Assist operations to transfer the systems to manufacturing floor such as end of line, Sub-assembly or Printed Circuit Board Assembly(PCBA) testing. Develop Test Systems, create SoW, and manage Test Projects within schedule and budget expectations. Project launch utilizing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process following Automotive Quality Management System (QMS)standards from International Automotive Task Force (IATF). Work with production personnel to test equipment and software. Assist in the design of experiments under production, proto-type, and developmental conditions to increase yields and improve test reliability, repeatability, and standardization. Practice vigilance for shop safety, environmental safety, product quality, ergonomics, and energized control safety.

Travel required up to 25% (international). Telecommuting permissible within commuting distance of office in Orlando, FL.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field. 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Test Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or a closely related occupation.

SKILLS: Must have:

1. Three (3) years of experience developing Automated Test Equipment for Automotive, Medical, or aerospace industries using NI LabVIEW and Test Stand.

2. Five (5) years of experience testing in a high-volume production environment, Maintaining, supporting, or debugging Automated Test equipment.

3. Experience with project launch and NPI process following Automotive QMS standards from IATF 16949 & VDA as well as its core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC).

4. Experience with NI Actor Framework reference design.

5. Experience with Agile methodologies for software development and Life cycle management.

6. Experience with lean manufacturing, including 5S+1, Kaizen events, and continuous process improvement.
