Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer (Salary Range: $110,000/yr-$115,000/yr): Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of next generation automotive sensing technology and test software. Lead the verification and validation activities of embedded software to meet stringent automotive standards. Execute software testing in compliance to ASPICE(Automotive Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination) process model. Develop test plans and help author Software Testing strategy using static, dynamic, grey-box, and black-box software approaches at different levels of Oversee and create testing plans, and create detailed test specifications and procedures. Support the Test Engineering team to improve processes, investigate, and qualify testing tools, and develop techniques to improve testing. Work cross-functionally with Development, Test, and Quality teams in defect management and contribute to the development of our test automation frameworks and systems.

Telecommuting permissible within commuting distance of office in Orlando, FL.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field. 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an Embedded Engineer, Software Engineer, Test Engineer, or a closely related occupation.

SKILLS: Must have:

1. Experience testing software using varied approaches (static, dynamic, grey-box, or black-box) at different levels (Integration, software and software qualification testing) in compliance with ASPICE.

2. Experience in requirements analysis and test plan and specifications development, including using requirement management tools (JAMA or DOORS).

3. Experience with automotive communication interfaces (CAN and automotive ethernet).

4. Experience using Vector hardware and software tools (CANoe, CANape) to diagnose, communicate and test ECUs.

5. Experience with test scripts development using a scripting language (Python or CAPL).

6. Experience in test automation ecosystem and frameworks (Robot Framework).

7. Experience within AUTOSAR framework.
