Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily accounting and manage sales tax filings.
Handle various ad hoc tasks and ensure smooth operation.
Maintain compliance with US accounting and tax regulations.
Help enhance our internal processes and workflows.
Desired Skills and Experience
Accounting Experience: You have a solid background in accounting and managing sales tax.
Tech Proficiency: You’re skilled in using Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions (Pivot tables, Array Formulas).
Language Proficiency: German-speaking is highly preferred, with fluent English a must.
Eager to Learn: You’re ready to grow and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Problem Solver: You excel at critical thinking and finding solutions to complex problems.
Time Management Expert: You can juggle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines effectively.
Basic Requirements
valid US Work Authorization
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with accounting concepts & software handling large data sets.
Proven experience in accounting and tax filing.
Familiarity with e-commerce and software tools like A2X, TaxJar, Suralink is a bonus.
