Position Overview:
We are an accounting firm located in Largo, Florida on the lookout for a new team member who is dynamic and eager to contribute their bookkeeping and accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will be someone who not only has the required skills but also seeks to thrive in a professional environment that values growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Accounting:
Maintain accurate financial records.
Manage daily accounting tasks including transactions, reconciliations, and ledger entries.
Tie-outs.
Journal Entries
Financial Statement Preparation/Review:
Prepare financial statements that summarize the firm’s financial position.
Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Tax Preparation:
Prepare and file tax returns.
Assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Submitting monthly and quarterly payroll tax
Required Skills and Experience:
QuickBooks Experience:
Online Required: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential, as it’s a key tool the firm uses for managing accounts.
Desktop Required: While QuickBooks Desktop experience is preferred, it is not mandatory but could be beneficial.
Financial Statement Preparation/Review:
Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure they reflect the true financial status of the firm.
Tax Preparation:
Experience with preparing and filing tax returns.
Applicant must have experience working on multiple company's books and taxes within their position.
