Touchstar Cinemas - Kitchen Manager Needed!
Touchstar Cinemas is a premier dine-in theater that combines cutting-edge film presentation with exceptional food and beverage service. Our guests enjoy a unique experience, including meals served directly to their seats alongside premium wines and handcrafted cocktails. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in food service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Maintain food quality and consistency in line with company standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative, efficient team.
Manage inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages.
Monitor waste and implement cost-saving measures to reduce overproduction.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Promptly and professionally address guest concerns about food quality or preparation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a theater that operates 365 days a year.
Capability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
ServSafe certification (or ability to pass Manager ServSafe test).
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation, with the vehicle remaining on-site during shifts.
Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Must be able to pass a Background Check.
