Marina Forklift Operator needed for a state of the art marina in Tarpon Springs. This person is responsible for providing superior care and service to customers and their vessels at all times. He/she is in charge of maintaining the docks, marina facilities, tools, equipment, as well as to provide safe and efficient forklift operation to ensure a great experience for our customers. Looking for someone who also has basic mechanical skills.
The physical demands of this job include extreme outside conditions including heat, rain, and cold weather. Because this job requires both physical and mental demands, the person for this job is required to work well under all conditions and to possess a high level of commonsense skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly. Previous marina forklift experience is preferred and boat driving skills are required. Require weekends and most holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday. Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver's license, be able to swim, work well with others, show up to work on time and be drug and alcohol free.
Healthcare benefits offered after 90 days. Starting pay $20/hr.
