We are very team oriented and collaborative and care about the services we furnish and value we provide to our customersAbout the job:This ITSM Engineer (ITSM) assists in the coordination, operation, and implementation of IT Service Management practices, monitors, and procedures to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of IT services across Insurance products and delivery systems.The Engineer specializes in several ITSM practices, technical analysis, diagnosis, business analysis functions, and associated applications to improve service delivery and operations.ITSM Engineer also provides technical support and system administration for the service management platform using tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.This entry-level position performs basic software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. You’ll be responsible for:

Learning and assisting in the operational support activities for all ITSM practices such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management

Generating, Verifying, and delivering of SLA reports

Having knowledge or experience with Azure environments preferred.

Possessing strong analytical / quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into concrete action.

Have the ability to coordinate teams to resolve analytical and technical issues.

Developing and maintaining standard ITSM operational procedures.

Have knowledge and skills in SQL Query using any tools is preferred

Possessing prior knowledge in Python or any other programming language is preferred

Managing Major Incidents by setting priorities to enable a swift resolution

Ensuring all administration and reports are maintained and up to date, including training documents & post major incident reviews

Continually maintaining and developing tools and resources to manage major incidents effectively

Providing periodic major incident metrics reports

Attending, facilitating , and/or leading meetings of cross-functional stakeholders and service provider groups

Supporting business and user needs, gathering and documenting requirements, as well as translating into proper system requirement specifications to yield effective results.

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

1+ years of IT engineer and technical business analyst experience

BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
