Description Basic Functions:This position entails conducting intricate research, design, and software development tasks within a specified software functional area or product line. The role offers an exciting opportunity to delve into cutting-edge technology aimed at simplifying "Big Data" management. Responsibilities include extracting, loading, cleansing, translating, manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing massive amounts of data using advanced technology and techniques. Additionally, there's involvement in migrating processes/applications around Big Data Technology to Azure. Collaboration with talented colleagues across various skills and business domains is integral, as is close collaboration with internal business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver a product that exceeds customer expectations.Accountabilities:

Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for system components

Completing moderate to complex bug fixes

Collaborating with development team members, Quality Analysts, and Business to translate product requirements into software designs

Operating in various development environments while collaborating with stakeholders

Resolving technical issues

Staying updated on new technological developments

Implementing major code design changes to new & existing products

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies – Azure, AWS

Proficiency in development languages including Python, Java, C/C, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, JSON

Experience with Git – GitLab/GitHub

Experience/Education Requirements:

6+ years of relevant experience

Requirements

Qualifications:

8+ years of Software Engineering experience

BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS

Experience with complex data models

Proficiency in development languages: Python, Java, C/C, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, JSON

Familiarity with industry best practices, code coverage

Experience in software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

Proficiency with Git – GitLab/GitHub

Knowledge of test-driven development

Willingness to learn new processes and technologies

Excellent oral and written communication skills
