RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Python REST APIs and reusable libraries.
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Build complex business logic.
Orchestrate services that bring performance, security, and value to the product.
Ensure engineering best practices are followed & implemented.
If senior, you will mentor junior Developers.
Partner with the business to support business strategy into reality.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Identify bottlenecks and defects, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
Deliver high-quality solutions by adhering to software design, development, and testing best practices.
Create reusable libraries that the team can share and use.
Partner with vendors and offshore teams.
Analyze, capture and communicate customer requirements.
This is a direct-hire position. We are currently working 100% remotely and do not have a set date to return to the office. Once our Alpharetta office opens, we offer flex hours and telecommuting two days a week. We may consider 100% remote if you have AWS and Kubernetes but not our 1st choice. REQUIRED SKILLS:
Python development (junior to senior level)
Docker or Kubernetes
Strong API development experience.
RDBMS.
Experience writing reusable libraries.
Understanding of code versioning tools.
Knowledge of concurrency patterns & multi-threading.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design pattern.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and organized.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience developing cloud-first software.
