You will find a fulfilling career at MSM !Posting Number NONAC3056 Job Title Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Digital Experience Position Title Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Digital Experience Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Department Marketing and Communications Position Summary Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, the Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Digital Experience, develops and actualizes service line and institutional marketing communications strategies, ensuring consistency with the system’s mission, vision and goals. Works in partnership with the Vice President and Senior Directors of Corporate Communications and develops, implements and evaluates strategic marketing plans for system-wide service lines and global initiatives.

Manages daily activities of Marketing and Communications Managers.

Establishes best practice standards for the development of marketing and communications plans and programs.

Works with Senior Director, Corporate Communications to ensure that all plans are integrated, targeted, and creative.

Develops and implements marketing and communications plans that have effective tactics, realistic budgets and measurable objectives. Incorporates quality measurements to track effectiveness and improvement efficiency. Responds to indicators as necessary.

Develops and implements marketing and communications strategies that support the business and growth plans for assigned service lines. Ensures strategies consistently support organizational brand.

Provides strategic marketing and communications advice and direction, acting as a consultant to their team and to clinical and administrative leaders.

Represents department at all major operations and service line meetings.

Works collaboratively to identify and analyze data from multiple sources to target marketing strategies and track results. Demonstrates understanding of needs and motivators for specific audiences and demographics (consumers, physicians, internal, etc.).

Personally manages at least one service line.

Effectively negotiates vendor contracts as needed.

Ensures senior leadership are apprised of current issues and events in an ongoing, timely and appropriate manner.

Ensures that all projects support goals and objectives of the institution.

Attends workshops, training and seminars as appropriate.

Maintains appropriate professional conduct and appearance

Adheres to company policies regarding confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.

Minimum 7 years of experience in communications, public relations and/or marketing in a healthcare and/or academic setting preferred.

Demonstrated leadership, management, facilitation and networking skills. Ability to make prompt and effective decisions.

Superior verbal and written communication skills. Communicates clearly to express thoughts and ideas.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, taking initiative and meeting objectives and deadlines.

Ability to effectively coordinate personal job duties, with the duties of others and adapt in a high-change environment.

Highly developed problem-solving skills and a proven capacity to be proactive.

Experience overseeing large-scale campaigns and projects, including advertising and digital campaigns, in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 3 years spent in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of healthcare and academic fields.

CRM experience.

SEO optimization and paid search.

Working knowledge of project management software.

Knowledge of AP style.

Experience managing a marketing and digital team.
