Description We are searching for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team. This role involves handling complex business litigation and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle complex litigation cases, focusing on catastrophic business loss events Draft and review pleadings for Motion for Summary Judgement Manage cases involving fire caused by a DLA battery Prepare for and participate in court proceedings Collaborate with clients and colleagues to determine the best strategies for legal proceedings Conduct research and analysis of legal problems Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses Present facts in writing and verbally to their clients or others, and argue on their behalf Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds Requirements Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Active member of the State Bar in good standing. Proven experience in handling complex business litigation and complex litigation. Proficiency in drafting briefings, pleadings, and summary judgements. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to stay updated with changes in law and the legal profession. Proficiency in using legal research software and other computer technology tools.
