Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Business Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

This position will be part of the Data Center organization for a respectable financial institution. The position will report to a VP of Automation and Tooling team. The team is looking for a motivated and hands-on Business Analyst to document operational processes, develop user requirements, perform ad-hoc reporting and data analysis, lead user acceptance testing, and provide general tooling support to the Operations team.

Position Description:

-Document and manage requirements from user community

-Create ad-hoc reports and perform data analysis (light technical role)

-Lead and perform process mapping and process analysis work

-Assist with documentation and training for user community -Lead and perform user acceptance testing of tools ?Support maintenance of Sharepoint sites (light technical role)

-Proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement.

-Identify opportunities for growth within the customer environment

Skills Required:

-Professional work experience (3+ yrs) & expertise in Technology related activities.

-Light Project coordination and task management experience for a minimum of 3 years.

-Capable of simultaneously managing activities at multiple sites under multiple projects.

-Good leadership and organizational skills

-Effective written and verbal communication skills

-Experienced in the development of specifications and other technical documentation.

-Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering or technology discipline.

-Competent in the use of all basic MS Office Automation products

-Word, Excel, Visio, Power point, SharePoint and Project.

Skills Desired

-Basic knowledge of Data Center Technology and Service Management.

-Basic understanding of delivery practices such as LEAN and Agile
