Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Collections Specialist, you will be involved in managing business-to-business accounts receivable with a high volume of vendors. Your primary focus will be to handle overdue accounts, prepare aging reports, and utilize NetSuite for customer accounts management in a professional and customer-focused manner.Responsibilities Handle a large portfolio of accounts, focusing on reducing past-due balances and increasing cash flow for the organization. Prepare and maintain up-to-date aging reports, ensuring timely follow-ups on overdue accounts to identify trends in delinquencies. Initiate proactive communication with business clients to resolve outstanding balances, reconcile accounts, and manage payment arrangements. Analyze and reconcile complex accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues in collaboration with internal teams. Leverage NetSuite to manage customer accounts, generate reports, and document collection activities. Ensure accurate record-keeping and data entry for all collection activities in the system. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering goodwill while negotiating payment terms and resolving conflicts that may impact collections. Generate weekly and monthly reports on collection progress, outstanding accounts receivable, and specific vendor issues, providing insights and recommendations to the management team. Requirements Must possess knowledge and experience in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Must have experience in Billing Functions Should have a solid understanding of Claim Administration Familiarity with Collection Processes is a must Experience with NetSuite software is beneficial Must be proficient in BtoB - Business to Business interactions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
