Clearwater –St. Petersburg area, Florida corporate headquarters needs a Corporate Accounting Manager. This is a publicly traded manufacturing company with manufacturing plants in the United States. You will report to the Director of Accounting, and supervise corporate accounting staff.I am advertising in your area in order to find people who might want to live and work in the Clearwater- St. Petersburg, Florida area.Will manage the corporate accounting staff to ensure compliance with the company’s accounting policies, GAAP, and SEC regulations.Supervise the monthly financial close process, coordinating with division controllers, tax personnel, payroll, etc. to produce financial statements of several companies.Oversee the preparation of the Company’s financial, statistical and management reports.Responsible for analysis, and reporting of cost related financial information, and cost variance analysis.Control the general ledger, asset management, and accounts payable systemsMaintain integrity of balance sheet accountsProvide audit support to internal and external auditors.Provide oversight of corporate accounting policies, reviewing the performance of the company’s internal controls and completion of SOX requirements.
