A Scrum Master is the servant leader of a scrum team. The scrum team uses an agile scrum development methodology which allows the team to self- organize and make changes quickly.Key Roles and Responsibilities:The Scrum Master guides a scrum team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and how to get the most out of self-organization.Assesses the maturity of the scrum team, providing support and coaching their team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable to the team.Removes impediments and/or guides the team on how to remove impediments.The Scrum Master facilitates and leads Agile ceremonies (Daily Standup, Demonstration, Story Point Estimation, Retrospective, Iteration Planning, Backlog Grooming) and fosters continuous improvement.Remove impediments to a team’s productivity by shielding them from outside influences.Empower teams and facilitate creativity while guarding quality and monitoring iteration progress while striving for successful completion.Represent the team to management.Disseminate information to the team, including metrics and charts.Work with other Scrum Masters to ensure organizational process improvement.The Scrum Master builds and maintains a trusting and safe environment where problems and issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged.As a servant leader, the scrum master protects the team from external distractions, allowing the team to focus on the work to which they have committed.Job Contribution: Senior level technical expertise. Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT/Cricket technologies.Key Responsibilities:
Review IT change requests and approve as appropriate
Establish IT change management process enhancements
Identify change management process improvements
Mentor teams in understanding change management processes
Responsible for trending and analysis of key process metrics
Serve as Scrum Master for operational application and tooling initiatives
Manage complex projects and stakeholder expectations with complete end to end engagement responsibilities from requirements, project communication, Audit and Compliance, budget management, change management and final project closure.
Able to work closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, Technical leads, and customers.
Navigate between in differing Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) including waterfall, agile, Hybrid and DevOps.
Basic knowledge of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and ITIL a plus
Education: Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in any Technical, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.Experience: Typically requires 5-8 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.Supervisory: No.This position is located in Atlanta, GA. There is No Relocation assistance provided.Our Lead Scrum Masters earn between $128,400 - $192,600 of TSR.
