Custom Software Engineering Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; Atlanta, GA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Senior Manager in Atlanta, GA, and the job duties are as follows:

Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.

Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling, and information engineering.

Design complex software systems to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.

Lead complex product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

Review, as needed, the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers.

Design computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.

Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.

Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.

Design application and component strategy in line with the business strategy, analyze user needs and develop software solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the IT consulting industry.Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following:

Development and design experience in Duck Creek Policy platform; and

Managing Duck Creek integration projects, including providing solutions for complex customization requirements on front-end, middleware, and back-end, and suggesting improvements on ongoing performance issues.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

Utilizing DevOps and Agile methodology; and

Driving key architectural and design decisions in application and integration architecture, accounting for key design concepts including reusability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability; application development concepts including Model View Controller, and, integration concepts including Pub/Sub and REST.
