Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the construction/contractor industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia (30339). As a Data Entry Clerk, your main function will be to handle, organize, and maintain data in our company databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities: Accurately input and update data into company databases, spreadsheets, and other systems Cross-verify information from various sources to maintain data accuracy Organize and upkeep both physical and electronic filing systems Identify and rectify data discrepancies in source documents Retrieve and process data from multiple platforms as needed Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive data Conduct regular backups to safeguard data Respond to data-related queries and provide support as needed Prepare documents for data entry, ensuring all required fields are filled out Assist in generating reports, summaries, and documentation for management review Collaborate with other departments to maintain data consistency and improve processes.Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in customer service Proven experience in data entry tasks Strong email correspondence skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in organizing files and maintaining records Ability to perform calculations accurately Experience with scanning documents and ensuring their proper storage Fast and accurate typing skills Knowledge of the construction/contractor industry is an advantage Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Exceptional communication skills High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
