Making workflow decisions under the direction of management. Improving service levels and costs for distribution center operations
Supervising and motivating distribution center employees through effective coaching and training, clear communication of job expectations, and positive reinforcement of exemplary performance; maintaining a positive distribution center working environment
Implementing productivity, quality, and service standards. Resolving problems and identifying areas for improvements
Contributing performance data to strategic plans and reviews
Ensuring all equipment receives preventative maintenance and repairs, as necessary
Adhering to requirements and procedures for safety regulations
What You HaveWarehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies, processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers. Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities. Analyzes and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area. Assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution centerCoaching Others: Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness. Coaches others to improve their skills. Observes skill practice; offers constructive feedback.
