Description Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Administrator to oversee, manage, and optimize our NAV platform as we transition to Business Central (BC) over the next three years. This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for standard modules, including EDI and Lanham-specific tools like e-Ship and ChargeLogic, while ensuring alignment with business processes and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, capable of working across teams to support, train, and guide stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:System Management & Transition:
Take ownership of all aspects of NAV, preparing for a seamless migration to Business Central (BC) within the next three years.
Administer, configure, and maintain Dynamics NAV and related modules, ensuring system efficiency and performance.
Manage in-house controls to restrict workflows as per regulatory requirements in California.
Module Expertise & Integration:
Act as SME for standard accounting modules with expertise in General Ledger (GL), inventory best practices, and ERP support.
Leverage experience in Lanham modules (e-Ship, EDI, ChargeLogic) for day-to-day operations and problem-solving.
Handle EDI integration and ensure smooth functionality across the platform.
User Support & Training:
Provide training to users across departments, enhancing their understanding and usage of Dynamics NAV/BC.
Translate technical requirements into functional solutions, working closely with business users to bridge gaps.
Reporting & Analysis:
Develop and manage reports using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Create general reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define requirements and optimize workflows.
Recommend and implement system improvements aligned with best practices and business goals.
Requirements
Proven experience with Dynamics NAV administration and migration projects to Business Central (BC).
Expertise in standard accounting modules and inventory best practices.
Hands-on experience with Lanham tools such as e-Ship, EDI, and ChargeLogic.
Proficiency in EDI integration and ERP support.
Strong reporting skills using Power BI or equivalent tools.
Ability to train users and translate technical concepts for business users.
Understanding of GL processes and regulatory compliance.
