You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.On Friday, interviews will take place at our Atlanta, GA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.As an Entry-Level Roadway Engineer, you will contribute to a variety of transportation projects while working alongside experienced engineers and project managers. You will apply engineering principles, assist with the development of roadway designs, and support project delivery from planning through construction. This position offers the opportunity to build technical expertise, gain project experience, and advance your professional development within a collaborative transportation team. ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and development of roadway projects in accordance with applicable engineering standards, guidelines, and client requirements.Prepare and modify roadway plan sheets, including typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross sections.Utilize engineering design software, including CADD platforms, to support project development and design production.Perform engineering calculations, quantity estimates, and technical analyses under the guidance of senior staff.Assist with the preparation of reports, specifications, cost estimates, and other project documentation.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to support project objectives and schedules.Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical discussions and project deliverables.Support quality control efforts and ensure work is completed in accordance with established procedures and standards.
