This role will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all transitions across the multi-functional GBS organization. The role is responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across GBS. It will play a key role in educating GBS about lean concepts that lead to the identification, development, and implementation providing the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.The DailyTo identify and deliver service improvement activity across GBS through employing process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking
To build a continuous improvement environment and playbook to support an ongoing program of change across GBS
To lead and facilitate process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions across GBS
Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
To assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy
To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery
To collaborate with other team members and GBS departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements
To actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future improvement projects
The Essentials:Minimum 10 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
Minimum 5 years of experience leading large scale, high visibility business continuous improvement programs and lean solutions
Experience of designing or implementing a framework of continuous improvement in a global, multi-functional organization
Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure
Experience managing and developing teams across various global locations
SAP usage or SAP design/implementation experience preferred
International experience required
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationBachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Technology, Human Resources) required
MBA preferred
Accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
Knowledge/SkillsExceptional understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping
Excellent management, decision-making and interpersonal skills
Strategic and pragmatic with the ability to carry an idea through execution
Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong organizational skills
Results oriented mindset with a drive to achieve objectives
Strong ability to interact professionally (written and verbal) GBS Customers and all levels of WBD management and staff and outside vendors
Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment
Ability to set-up, facilitate and lead service improvement sessions with a range of business stakeholders (incl. Experience of process/value stream mapping)
A ‘completer-finisher’ taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery
Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
Willingness and ability to travel internationally
