Job DescriptionThe Design Project Manager is responsible for managing design projects from conceptual development through execution. He/she is responsible for developing construction documents and implementing the documents across prototype, in-line, conversion, new construction and renovation restaurant projects for corporate and franchisee locations. The candidate will ensure the construction drawing designs, brand standards, and details are coordinated throughout the set.Manage multiple projects from initial design concept through permitting, budget approval and final completionResponsible for managing consultant professional fees, schedules and budgetsOrganize and coordinates all aspects of design using both internal and external resourcesInterface with other teams (Operations, Real Estate, Property Management, Site Development, Construction, Purchasing, etc.) to adapt Brand design standards to specific sitesProvides schematic plans, elevations, renderings and design development details; highly efficient at producing design development drawingsReviews surveys and new site plans and creates "as built" plansReview construction documents for accuracy, coordination and design intentCoordinate planning/permitting functions with construction manager and external consultants.Approves shop drawings, reviews proposals of proposed FF&EStay abreast of evolving design and construction means and methods through continuing education programs and other informational sourcesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
