Title:  Laser OperatorReports to:  Production SupervisorJob Purpose:  Ultimately responsible for set up and operation of laser machines, production saw, and tumble blast machine.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and other quality documentsAdjust machine settings per part specifications and troubleshoot machine setting issues   Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with fixtures, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure conformance with specificationsMaintain tolerances determined by part specificationsAbility to perform preventative maintenance and maintain the area’s 5S standardsRecognize, set up, and operate hand and power toolsMust be able to lift up to 50lbsPerform other duties as required or assigned by supervisorFollow all OSHA and internal safety standards
