Honeywell is hiring a Lead Attorney - AI and Data Governance that will sit in Atlanta, GA working on a hybrid-schedule.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as data governance counsel for the Digital Services team.
Gain an in-depth understanding of Honeywell’s products and development processes, including their strengths, limitations, and vulnerabilities from a legal, privacy and security standpoint
Provide expert legal advice and guidance to product, design, and engineering teams developing data product
Help develop and maintain a data and AI governance framework that includes a comprehensive set of policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions for Digital Services
Track and provide guidance on global laws pertaining to artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, industry trends, data governance, cybersecurity and privacy
Review contracts, terms of use, privacy policies, data processing agreements, sales agreements, integration agreements, joint marketing agreements, partnership agreements, and other technology-related agreements for data use and data rights terms
Lead implementation of emerging laws such as EU Data Act, EU AI Act, etc.
YOU MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on technology product counseling, artificial intelligence, privacy, and/or cybersecurity
Law degree and a license to practice law in any state in the US or District of Columbia.
Understanding of data privacy and data security laws around the world (including the United States, EU and Asia)
