Join our team and bring your bold ideas, supporting and transforming our business across areas like marketing, finance, and more. Job Summary: The Lead Financial Systems Analyst - Qualified Opportunity Zone Business Leader will spearhead our efforts in opportunity zone investments and create and manage technology, reporting, and automation solutions for various tax department clients. This individual will collaborate with internal teams and external partners and maintain a deep understanding of economic development, real estate, tax incentives, and financial systems.Key Responsibilities:Manage the established strategic plan for our Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) business and financial systems projects, including delivering short-term and long-term goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure investment opportunities are in designated opportunity zones, focusing on related projects. Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including analyzing financial and operational data and assessing trends. Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, legal, marketing, and the Tax department, to ensure seamless execution of investment opportunities and compliance with federal and state regulations and Tax laws. Develop and maintain financial reporting models to analyze complex financial data using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Alteryx, GenAI, and Excel. Monitor and report on the progress of investments and financial systems projects, including tracking key performance metrics and financial performance. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and other partners involved in opportunity zone initiatives. Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial systems and reporting. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices related to opportunity zones and financial systems, and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization and partners. Other duties that may be assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Real Estate, Tax, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree or other relevant certifications are a plus. Proven track record of success in accounting, financial analysis, project management, systems implementation, or related combination of experience. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, proficient in Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Alteryx, Snowflake, RPA, and Excel. Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to opportunity zones and Tax laws and an understanding of the broader economic development landscape. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.Please note : This is a summary only.
