Title:Lead Informatica DeveloperHomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families. HomeSafe will have a 24/7 global contact center, to support over 320,000 moves globally every year.HomeSafe is seeking skilled employees with a passion for improving the Department of Defense customer's household goods moving experience.The Lead Informatica Developer will work in a team setting to develop integration solutions utilizing the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) environment. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex ETL, APIs, and SQL logic. Provide ongoing production support.This role is not for the development of a data warehouse for reporting. This role is for application-to-application integration utilizing an enterprise data warehouse to process data, track history for audit purposes, and some reporting for reconciliation and validation of data. Experience with IICS and API development is a mandatory requirement.Responsibilities :
Work with business to gather/analyze requirements to determine extent of reporting and/or interface needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions.
Documenting technical requirements based on the functional requirements provided by the business.
Developing integration solutions based on business requirements in IICS
Work with 3rd party cloud systems to coordinate API development within IICS
Develop mappings to call 3rd party APIs
Review business requests for data design and data usage.
Development of Data Models and processes
Ensure consistency with existing databases and warehouses, enforcement of standards and consistent processes.
Ensure warehouse and database functions are in accordance with Data Governance policies as set forth by HomeSafe Alliance policies and standards.
Responsible for time scheduling, properly building jobs with appropriate failure notifications, and properly maintaining adequately documented run books of the jobs.
Monitor work queues, assign, prioritize and coordinate activities of the Data Integration team.
Work with the release management team to ensure that proper change management process is performed, as well as planning deployment timelines to avoid emergency migrations.
Investigate production ETL issues and work to determine the root cause of problems.
Perform other duties as assigned
Afterhours support may be required as needed
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
Minimum 3 years of Informatica Cloud Service (IICS).
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
Experience with Web Services and APIs with IICS.
Experience with SQL Tools such as Toad/SQL Navigator.
Extensive experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Excellent organizational, oral, written, and presentational communication skills to work with all levels of staff and management.
Extensive data warehousing/business intelligence development and architecture experience.
Experience with Scheduling tools.
Candidate must have a strong customer service orientation.
