Description Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a contract Benefits Specialist for our client looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist. Our software client has a national presence and employees in almost every state; they are headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and have a preference for remote local talent. The Benefits Analyst will be instrumental in managing employee benefits, coordinating ADA accommodations, and handling leave administration. This role will be carried out remotely, with a preference for candidates in the Atlanta area. This engagement is going to start immediately in September of 2024 and is going to last through January 2025.Candidates must have extensive LOA experience with both ADA accommodations and FMLA coverage in order to be considered for this engagement. Responsibilities: Administer and coordinate employee benefits, ensuring proper execution and adherence to policies. Act as a point of contact for leave administration, managing and resolving related inquiries effectively. Handle heavy LOA and ADA discussions, providing comprehensive support and solutions to employees. Utilize Workday HCM and Workday HRIS for efficient benefits administration and management. Support open enrollment process, assisting employees with benefits selection and queries. Coordinate short-term disability insurance, ensuring employees are adequately informed and supported. Manage benefits payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Handle FMLA related matters, providing necessary guidance and support to employees. Work closely with the Leave Administrator, ensuring efficient management of leaves and related processes. Perform benefits accommodations, ensuring all employee needs are met and aligned with company policies.Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Defense Software industry. Proven experience in Benefits Administration and Coordination. Demonstrated knowledge of ADA Accommodations and FMLA. Proficiency in using Workday, Workday HCM, and Workday HRIS. Experience in managing Short Term Disability Insurance. Ability to handle Benefits Payroll efficiently. A clear understanding of various Benefit Functions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
