We focus on creating intuitive and actionable insights into spending, cash flow, and budget management, offering solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth.On this team, you will serve as a Manager of Product Development and visionary, driving the execution on the strategy for spend management capabilities. You will work on building features that cater to customers' spend optimization needs, including insights on transactions, budget tracking, and solutions that improve their bottom line. Collaboration is key in our team, and partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives, deliver impactful features, and ensure alignment with business goals.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading product development from concept to execution, delivering growth initiatives, building roadmaps, delivery strategies, business solution architecture, and providing data-driven insights. You should be adept at leading multiple concurrent priorities, working with diverse teams, preparing and presenting to senior leaders, and aligning product strategies with evolving business needs. This candidate will also have experience in finding existing capabilities to leverage and enhance to drive speed to market and re-usability.If you are passionate about building solutions that enhance small business financial management and revenue growth, and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end delivery of product development for specific features within the Blueprint Spend Management initiative, with a focus on revenue-generating and spend optimization tools for American Express Small Business customers.

Operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying opportunities for product enhancements and driving initiatives forward with minimal oversight.

Collaborate with strategy, design, engineering, and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or risks, ensuring smooth delivery of product features and adapting quickly to changing priorities or feedback.

Develop and maintain clear product roadmaps, setting priorities based on business needs, customer insights, and performance metrics.

Lead the product lifecycle from concept through to execution, ensuring delivery on time and within scope while adapting to new information or evolving project needs.

Use data-driven insights to monitor product performance and iteratively refine product features to improve user experience and drive revenue growth.

Facilitate communication with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, success metrics, and overall alignment with business strategies.

Adapt product roadmaps based on emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving customer needs.

Prepare and present product strategies, roadmaps, and updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders across the enterprise.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards throughout the product development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of confirmed experience in product management, product development, or a related function, preferably within a financial services or technology company

Demonstrated success in leading product development initiatives from concept to execution, delivering impactful solutions with autonomy and proactivity

Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, data analytics) to drive product outcomes

Proven track record when defining and driving a product roadmaps, while leading multiple priorities concurrently and adapting to shifting project requirements

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and strategies effectively to both engineers and business partners

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform product decisions

Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, leading timelines and project requirements efficiently while adjusting to new challenges or information

Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development frameworks

Consistent record to work independently and take initiative in solving problems and driving product success

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent.

5 years of experience in product development or product management roles with a focus on small business solutions or financial services.

Experience with spend management products, payments, or related financial tools.

Solid understanding of small business customer needs and the financial tools they use for handling cash flow and optimizing spending.

Experience leading presentations and providing updates to senior executives, with a strong ability to influence and drive partner engagement.

Consistent track record in leading initiatives that drive revenue growth or improve financial performance for customers.

Advanced knowledge of metrics to track product success, with experience in using these insights to inform strategy and roadmaps.

Confirmed ability to adapt product features in response to feedback, evolving market conditions, and new information.

QualificationsSalary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
