AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented Mechanical Engineer IV (HVAC) for our Atlanta, Georgia Buildings and Places Group.  This role will consist of providing mechanical design on federal and commercial projects across the country and/or internationally, with a strong focus on timely delivery and Client satisfaction.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong desire to further their design capabilities and make significant contributions to substantial projects within a larger design initiative.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Design, including drafting, of mechanical systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including engineering related calculations and development of drawings.Develop system narratives.Review / Edit Specifications.QA/QC of Mechanical designs.Working under supervision of a department leader.Able to manage teams and projects with minimal supervision.Assist in proposal development. Buildings + PlacesAECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, FAA, and many Fortune 500 companies.
