Product Manager

Our client is seeking a

Product Manager to join their team!

This person will interface with a technical team to deliver features through the product roadmap around a kiosk-related product. This position works closely with the technical development teams and client managers alike.

Here's what you'll be doing:


  • Serving as the main translator of the business requirements into high-level technical product requirements for the product team

  • Guiding team development efforts towards successful project delivery

  • Providing technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship and ensure they are following design and development practices

  • Providing hands-on development, support and guidance for defects or issues that arise for the product

  • Participating and being a part of the Agile team in scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective

  • Recording IT requirements (functional and non-functional requirements), designing/documenting solutions, and establishing processes for business enabling, business-critical and mission-critical (high availability) systems

  • Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits

  • Identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team

  • Collaborating with other software developers (UX/UI), business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on various technologies

  • Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans

  • Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software

  • Designing, developing, and unit testing applications in accordance with established standards

  • Packaging and supporting deployment of releases

  • Assessing opportunities for application and process improvement and preparing documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties

  • Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget


Here's what our ideal candidate has:


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent

  • 7+ years of experience in program/product management

  • Experience working with small/medium-sized organizations

  • Experience with Go-To-Market strategy

  • Fundamental technical ability that can help understand the difference business requirements of different units and translate to the different IT stakeholders as well

  • Understanding of APIs from a Product Manager/Owner standpoint

  • Experience working on time critical deliverables using the Agile Methodology (Scrum and Kanban is a plus)
