The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal health research, project management, and data analysis. The coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing research projects focused on improving maternal health outcomes. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in health-related field.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in maternal health research or related field.
Strong understanding of research methodologies, study design, and statistical analysis.
Experience with project management tools and techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in scientific writing and presentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience working with diverse populations and communities.
Knowledge of ethical considerations and regulatory requirements in human subjects research.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Prior work experience with international maternal health projects and initiatives.
Prior work experience with qualitative research methods and analysis.
Knowledge of global maternal health initiatives and policies.

Lead the design, implementation, and management of research projects focused on maternal health.
Develop research protocols, study methodologies, and data collection tools.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
Recruit and train research staff, including fieldworkers and data collectors.
Oversee data collection, management, and analysis processes to ensure quality and accuracy.
Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on current trends and developments in maternal health research.
Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for dissemination to stakeholders, conferences, and peer-reviewed journals.
Collaborate with policymakers, healthcare providers, and community organizations to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
Assist in grant writing, proposal development, and fundraising efforts to support maternal health research initiatives.
Stay abreast of ethical guidelines and regulations governing research involving human subjects.
Provide support to the project director in developing project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
