Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians based in Florida or within the Central/Eastern time zone. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will review Prior Authorizations for a department within a large healthcare insurance company. Your primary responsibilities will include approving or denying authorizations and forwarding them to Pharmacists for final review. You will handle all health plans and various types of medications.In this role, you will process prescription exceptions, resolve claim rejects, and conduct member and physician outreach. You will enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system, research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues, and escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist. Additionally, you will assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.Hard Skills

You will work with multiple screens and within multiple systems. You must have a strong wifi connection and an office space with a closed door. The shift is Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm in your time zone, with rotating weekends and some holidays.
