Location: Aligned to an Elevance Health office, with a hybrid work schedule and local travel expectations as needed. The candidate will need to be located in Georgia.
Responsible for acquiring new mid-size accounts through brokers and/or directly to customers for Commercial and Specialty Business Division . Target group size is 1000-5000 supporting the entire state of Georgia.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Prospects accounts and produces revenue through new and renewal sales.
Generates lead activity and makes sales calls.
Develops strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new business.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license required by day 90 of employment.
Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry highly preferred.
Experience and knowledge with Administrative Services Only business.
Experience and knowledge negotiating and selling stop loss contracts.
Experience and knowledge negotiating and selling Pharmacy solutions.
Experience interacting confidently with key stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.
Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.
Proven ability to resolve complex issues in a fast paced and high demand environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, MS Teams and Salesforce highly preferred.
