The Project Manager will drive the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects and guides these complex projects from inception through delivery and support, working in close partnership with IT, IT Finance, and business leaders. This role is in charge of defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, creating project budgets, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members and improving Agile project management processes.This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Miami, Florida. East Coast hours are required.Your future duties and responsibilities:This role is in charge of defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking/reporting progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members, and improving project management processes.Provides overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.Must have strong experience running waterfall, agile and hybrid projects, aligning processes, deliverables and project metrics/dashboards/reports as neededProvide strategic input to IT leadership on all aspects of projects or programs being managed to provide value to the businessSuccessfully manage and execute projects on schedule and on budgetManage internal resources and any subject matter experts from other functional areas or external entitiesTrack and report project status on a consistent basis, including identifying, categorizing, and escalating project issues and risks that need leadership attentionEstablish and maintain standardized processes, procedures, tools, training, and reporting functions related to projects worked on within ITPrior experience managing technology roadmap projects and general knowledge and understanding of the technology field and technology projectsEnsure that communicated and planned metrics (savings, cost, timing, etc.) are achievedProvide leadership, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure success in their rolesDisplay strong stakeholder management skillsDisplay strong organizational change management skillsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum 7 years of project management experience SAFe Agile Experience a plus Must have project financial and budgeting experience, must be proficient with CapEX and OpEx categorization at the project activity level. Experience working as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach is highly preferred. Experience with vendor management and vendor package implementationsAbility to demonstrate knowledge of Industry IT Project Execution Methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and Scrum. Strong financials experience including but not limited to creating, tracking and managing a budget Proficiency with MS Project and JIRA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in managing customer facing projects preferred Awareness of APIs, API architecture a plusAdditional information: PMP experience and certification MUST be able to do project financials (complex!) Enterprise level experience Ability to handle multiple large scale IT projects Agile experience required (certifications a plus)CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
