This OpportunityWSP is looking for an experienced Senior Hydraulic and Hydrology Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, modeling, and design. This role requires a deep understanding of water resources engineering principles and strong project management skills.Your Impact
Lead the design and analysis of hydraulic structures, including channels, culverts, spillways, and stormwater management systems.
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
Perform floodplain mapping and flood risk assessments.
Develop and review technical reports, designs, and specifications.
Permit Drawings experience.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and urban planners.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure quality control.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Water Resources Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydraulic and hydrology engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in engineering software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and GIS.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering.
