We are establishing a new engineering team focused on building and shipping cross Cloud framework components and driving in-depth engagements with ROTH and Platform ISVs. QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience designing, developing, and operating large-scale internet-scale services
2 years full stack development
Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Knowledge of designing, developing, and operating large scale internet-scale services
Experience with web scripting (JavaScript/Typescript/NodeJS,), Spark, Query language (SQL) and open-source tools like PyTorch, Scikitlearn and Big data technologies like Hive, PySpark, Databricks etc.
Genuine interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Extensive knowledge and experience to design for operability
Take ownership, urgency, and drive to launch services
Systematic problem-solving approach
Prior experience processing, transforming and analyzing large amounts of data
Experience developing with Azure or other cloud services
Demonstrated ability to communicate business and technical ideas to varied audiences across disciplines, including peer engineers, product managers and management
Ability to debug and optimize code, and automate routine tasks
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
