Duration: CTH Job Description: The Senior Software Engineer will lead the Sterling MFT team in the definition, design, development, implementation and operational support of a robust,
scalable and reliable Enterprise IBM Sterling MFT suite of products (B2Bi/SFG and ICC) and MFT-related technologies. This role will be both strategic (technical/solution architect) and tactical (Hands-on development) across the Sterling Platform. Responsibilites: Application installation, configuration, and patching
Security (role-based permissions, authentication, SSL, SSH, digital certificates)
PGP cryptography
Routing Channel Templates management
Routing Channels management
Partner onboarding
Custom protocol and Custom Layer development
Creation and modification of Sterling B2B business processes
Performance analysis, optimization, debugging and monitoring
Troubleshooting business processes and file transfers in SFG and ICC
Implementation of automation
Provide thought leadership: across new features and functionality in Sterling products, patch management assessment and implementation, adoption of best practices
Hands-on development and support of work requests, incidents and projects.
Stay current on Sterling technology and methodologies in area of expertise
Proactively engage with vendors on product and support topics, issues and defects
Provide on-call support as needed Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of relevant work
experience OR 3+ years of relevant work experience with a MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Extensive enterprise-level experience (5 7 years) with B2BI, SFG, and ICC is required.
