About the role:
Subject matter expertise in remediation of agent/agency licensing, appointments & compliance and managing the appointment remediation process for insurance agents & agencies.
Monitor status of producer appointment remediations and maintain accuracy of the data, adherence to service level agreements, and standardization of process across all business units.
Compile information and maintain relevant records related to productivity, quality improvement, and compliance monitoring activities for internal use.
Support reporting requirements for requested market conduct exams and internal audits.
Maintenance of all producer and agency data in all applicable systems to meet licensing/compliance standards.
Research producer changes, appointments, and terminations in applicable systems.
Validate license and appointment status of existing agencies and producers by state to ensure appointment statuses remains compliant with State guidelines.
Assist with researching regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information.
Conduct routine system and data audits to ensure continuous compliance.
Develop and maintain processes and procedures regarding licensing/renewal/terminations.
Identify potential risks and liabilities from non-compliance, and devise strategies to mitigate these risks.
Support efforts to remain current on all regulatory license/compliance standards and Departments of Insurance requirements in all states to perform responsibilities.
What we’re looking for:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or proven record of experience in data management and reporting.
10+ years in Insurance, data management, or data quality and 8+ years in managerial/leadership position.
Strong understanding of principles, procedures, and skills associated with data quality and metadata management.
Team player with highly motivated, positive, and collaborative attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communications, presentations skills, and high attention to detail.
Strategic thinker with ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and with changing priorities and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
Strong program and project management skills with ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes.
Ability to influence change and drive results. Must be a self-motivated driver to identify issues and resolve them quickly.
Ability to troubleshoot problem areas, identify gaps and issues, and remediate.
Working knowledge of licensing and appointment data, terminology, and systems.
