POSITION PURPOSEThe Finance Innovation and Transformation (FIT) team is part of the Corporate Controller’s group (CCG) and is comprised of integrated competency centers that help drive value realization. FIT helps finance leaders transform the finance function by moving away from traditional, highly manual transactional processes in a backward-looking function to a predictive and proactive mindset powered by intelligent insights and automation FIT includes the following competency centers: Project Management Office, Product Management, Business Process Outsourcing, Process Optimization, Data Analytics, and Automation COE. FIT serves the Controller’s group as the digital hub and works cross-functionally with business partners in Finance and through-out Home Depot to support the company’s strategic objectives.This position will reside within the FIT Automation COE and will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Robotic Process Automations within the Finance organization.This role will partner with business analysts to review the proposed RPA process and business documentation. Then build, test, document, and deploy the solution using the UiPath’s RPA suite. Further, this role will support existing automations and ensure they are kept up to date with the latest system and business changes.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES25% Oversee the administration of financial policies.25% Conducts special financial studies and coordinates with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies.25% Performs internal and external economic research and analyzes issues related to specific financial metrics to ensure competitiveness5% Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.10% Recommends changes in financial analysis methods or procedures.10% Assists and supervises Financial Analysts in the daily preparation and conduct of their work.NATURE AND SCOPEThis position typically reports to a Director or Sr DirectorTypically requires highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems.Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTSEnvironment:Travel:Additional Environmental Job Requirements:Under constant pressure to continuously meet tight deadlines, demanding quotas and/or must regularly deal with difficult situations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Additional Minimum Qualifications:Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree inYears of Relevant Work Experience: 3 yearsPhysical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Hands-on experience with one or more RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)

At least 2 to 4 years of professional experience in programming (including scripting /coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development

Proactive problem solver with good planning and organizational skills

Prior experience with SAP, BPM tools (Zendesk, ServiceNow), Alteryx, GitHub, Tableau, or Winshuttle preferred

Prior work in or supporting Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Controls teams a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Oral and written communication skills

Accounting or Finance experience.
