The opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO), the VP, IT Enterprise Architecture (VP-EA) will lead the global technical strategy, lead enterprise and systems architecture, and execution of systems and infrastructure. The VP-EA will create the technology ecosystem to facilitate and accelerate digital insights, drive digital channels in support of the firm.
Work with CIDO to define and lead multi-year Architectural Strategy and ensure alignment with overall enterprise business goals.
Produce strategic roadmaps to maximize the impact of technology across the enterprise, defining how technology will shape the company’s overall strategy, governance, and structure.
Design and implement methods to strengthen the decision making regarding our technology architecture and solutions.
Partner and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
Leverage and deploy industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the development and execution of effective and efficient systems and solutions.
Create and deliver a sustainable and efficient architecture, applications strategy and operational plan for ongoing delivery and optimal integration of all systems.
Influences strategic technology driven initiatives by consulting on new and emerging technologies and solutions. Provides the leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required to develop an enterprise’s technical architecture.
Ensures cutting edge technological strategies through research and evaluation of industry data to ensure business alignment and in-depth technical knowledge on emerging technologies. Continuously learns, works with, understands, and communicates emerging technologies utilizing various methods. Works closely with vendors as a liaison to coordinate management of services hosted outside of our data centers to meet security, compliance, and audit requirements.
Manage and approve of technical roadmaps and project level artifacts. Provides input for any changes to the technical architectural standards while working closely with the IT organization and lines of business.
Build relationships across Technology Sector ecosystem
Provide overall IT Architectural guidance.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree required and MBA or advanced degrees are desired.
Fifteen-plus years Technology leadership in areas such as Secure DevOps/Agile, Virtualization technologies
Experience leading large enterprise program teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly article plans and projects both to senior level executives and more junior team members
Ability to effectively collaborate with the business and set technology-based strategies.
Proven ability to build effective relationships and successfully implement digital technologies.
