The VP, VBS Growth Leader is responsible for the design, modification, and delivery of nine core Vontier Business Systems (VBS) toolbox with a focus on growth and leadership. In addition, you will be the expert, and have the unique opportunity, to implement and drive one of the newest tools within the VBS toolbox of Focus and Prioritization Process (FPP). FPP is Vontier’s wholistic, databased process designed to strategically assess business priorities. Through leadership and expertise of this process, you will add value to Vontier and its operating companies by reducing non-value-added items that frees up resources to make investments that support our best customers with our best products and drive profitable growth. You will help Vontier focus on what really matters and achieve its targets by working smarter not harder. You will advance the Vontier organization of the Raving Fan concept enterprise selling approaches to gain stronger business partnerships. You will drive the OpenDrive concept of partnering with the organization to secure enterprise growth in focused end markets guiding enterprise accounts.WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead the implementation and execution of the FPP (Focus and Prioritization Process) across Vontier and its operating companies globally. Build out the FPP and commercial and enterprise selling toolkit including standard work and training materials Assist SVP of VBS and other Sr. Leadership in the development of the VBS roadmap and lead elements of its execution. Coach and teach embedded operating company employees on FPP and the VBS Fundamentals Facilitate training and other learning activities Knowledge expert and resource for Vontier and its Operating Companies across the 9 VBS fundamentals of: Kaizen event basics, Problem Solving Process (PSP), Experimentation, 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Transactional Process Improvement (TPI), Daily Management, Voice of the Customer (VOC), and Experimentation. Assist VBSO team with Lean, Growth and Leadership related activities as required. Promote the implementation and execution of the FPP (Focus and Prioritization Process) across Vontier and its operating companies globally. Build out the FPP and fundamentals toolkit including standard work and training materials Assist the VBS office and other Sr. Leadership in the development of the VBS roadmap and lead elements of its execution. Facilitate training and other learning activities to employees across all levels of the operating companies on FPP and the VBS Fundamentals. Act as an expert and resource for Vontier and its operating companies across the 9 VBS fundamentals of: Kaizen, Problem Solving Process (PSP), 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Transactional Process Improvement (TPI), Daily Management, Voice of the Customer (VOC), and Experimentation. Assist the VBS Office team with Lean, Growth and Leadership related activities as required Strategic Executive and redefine VBS to incorporate agile frameworks for problem solving, daily management, kaizens, solution selling, etc., leveraging the strengths of both systems for optimal performance. Champion a culture of innovation and prepare “standard work” rollout models – create a blueprint for any OpCo to rapidly move on the agile adoption curve. Cultivating Agile Leadership in a VBS Context by fostering agile leadership competencies and appreciate, internalize, and evangelize models that work for both manufacturing and technology businesses. Implement a performance metrics system that not only evaluates operational efficiency but also assesses the progress and impact of integrating business agility into the VBS toolkit.WHO YOU AREGrowth Leader Competencies Enterprise Solution Delivery: Build capabilities for delivering large-scale enterprise solutions using VBS and agile methodologies. Implement agile practices across various business units and encourage collaboration and fast decision-making. Continuous Improvement and Learning Culture: Establish and nurture a continuous learning culture. Encourage experimentation, knowledge sharing, and a mindset of continuous improvement across the organization. Problem Solving: Root cause analysis, action plans, and remediation. Communication: Effective communication with stakeholders, customers, and team membersSkills, Experiences, and Qualifications: You hold a bachelor’s degree required with a business or engineering degree preferred. You have a minimum of 5 years practical hands on work experience You have commercial experience of large accounts You have advanced excel skills with Access, SQL or other Database experience a plus You're have demonstrated experience applying process improvements including experience leveraging Vontier Business Systems (VBS) You have the ability to read and understand P&L and balance sheets You're analytical – able to understand complex disparate data and present in a consumable fashion. You're skilled at building relationships with external providers / partners, internal stakeholders and team You have strong communication skills and the ability to relate and convey messages at all levels within the organization You are results oriented and metric driven. You can work well under minimal supervision You are highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial You're willing to travel 25% both domestic and internationalWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUThe base compensation range for this position is $270,000 to $318,000 per year.
