Lead Product Manager, Telco International ExpansionWhat you can expectAt Zoom, you’ll help shape and execute our vision to elevate the global telecom network and services. You’ll lead our international strategy and deliver the most delightful communications experience to customers around the world. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with other product managers to build a large global telephony and messaging network, creating impactful and innovative solutions.About the TeamOur team is focused on expanding Zoom’s global telecommunication capabilities, ensuring seamless communication for users across diverse markets. We are passionate about building scalable and reliable telecom services that cater to the unique needs of local and global customers. Our focus is on delivering these solutions while maintaining the simplicity of SaaS products. We work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the growth and success of Zoom’s telephony and messaging offerings.Responsibilities:
Creating next-generation global telecom capabilities that provide the best experience for local markets.
Leading the global expansion strategy to make telecom services available worldwide, with the simplicity and ease-of-use of SaaS services.
Driving capabilities that fulfill local regulatory requirements and acting as a thought leader in developing best practices with the regulatory team and regulators.
Collaborating with the operations team to build the right infrastructure that offers the highest level of reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Driving a platform-centric approach to product development by defining scalable service capabilities through APIs and frameworks
Developing relationships with the supplier and partner ecosystem to connect with the global telecom network.
Creating functional and delightful experiences for internal operations and regulatory teams responsible for delivering complex telecom services.
What we’re looking for:
10+ years Product Management experience.
5+ years Telecommunications and/or UCaaS experience.
Have launched or managed products at SaaS pace.
Have telephony and network experience - knowledge of SIP, H.323, UDP, and VoIP standards.
Recognize that speed is everything, but prioritizing the right thing is equally important - you appreciate delivering impact quickly.
Have a certain level of exposure to APAC / MEA market would be critical (as in this case).
Have been in a prior product management role.
Network background + carrier relationships + telco regulatory chops.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:Minimum:$140,400.00Maximum:$324,500.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
