What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal HealthMarketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.This role is supporting the Medical Segment Solutions business, specifically the Presource® Products and Services franchise, and a portfolio including Chemotherapy, Dental, Fluid Management, Lab, Organ Procurement, and Veterinary kits. Presource® Products and Services delivers insight-driven procedural solutions and products enabling the customer to drive efficiencies in patient care. The product that we manage is the aggregation and delivery of procedure-specific “bundle” that contains the necessary disposable intraoperative supplies for a surgical or medical procedure. Presource® is comprised of over 18 kit product categories, 17+ GPO contracts, over 36,000 finished good SKUs, and ships over 83M units of product each year.Presource Global Product Marketing develops a suite of components, strategic relationships and procedural packs. In this role you are the owner of the upstream and downstream strategy for various procedural portfolio of products.This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Global Product Marketing.Job SummaryThe Sr Specialist, Product and Solutions Marketing plans and coordinates the logistics of conferences, congresses, and events to increase product and brand awareness. This job prepares new product information, plans events (e.g., identifying/negotiating price for event space, determining event agendas, coordinating event marketing, etc.), sets up exhibition space and displays promotional materials. This job also manages program budgets and measures lead generation resulting from events.Responsibilities

Develop / drive strategy and results for the procedural kit portfolios

Responsible for upstream and downstream activities including procedural assessment and insight development, creation and global commercialization of products

Demonstrate basic marketing and product management disciplines necessary for building business plans, product plans and roadmaps.

Analyze and make product recommendations based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for targeted segments and channels.

Translate market and customer needs across multiple channels into clearly defined product requirements and product line strategy.

Proactively gain insights into competitors, their products, pricing, unmet customer needs, and changing clinical practices through observation of operations and interactions with clinical staff.

Manage the product life cycle of a product line or a portfolio of product lines from discovery and innovation, to new product planning, new product introduction, post-launch product management, and product retirement.

Develop the product strategy for the product line(s), working with cross-functional teams.

Identify and remain current on market trends. Determine product lifecycle implications and make decisions to drive market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.

Execute projects to drive penetration of Cardinal branded products.

Serve as a procedural/product expert for assigned product lines.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience, preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Ability to travel up to 10%

This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D0883P01 and is part of the ME DCSLOG, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located in the Army National Guard ARNG, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics/G4 (DCSLOG/G4), Distribution Management Division, supply and Services Branch. Its purpose is to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage all command supply and services functions. Plans, organizes and manages supply and services functions to include command equipment/property readiness/accountability management. Formulates and implements command supply operating procedures and policies necessary to support units. Ensures unit responsibilities for receipting and accounting of equipment and supplies are met. Develops and manages the state logistics contingency stockage plan and coordinates the plan with the USPFO. Implements the Chief of Staff of the Army Supply Excellence Award Program. Administers the command equipment loan program. Serves as the focal point for approval of the loan of command equipment within the state ARNG. Directs the loan of equipment between units within the command. In coordination with the USPFO, request/directs loans of equipment to and from entities outside of the command/state, preparing inter-service support agreements and memorandums of agreement as appropriate. Advises the DOL Logistics Management Officer (LMO) on command supply and services status and recommends support required for current and proposed operations. Collects and consolidates data for areas in which operations are anticipated. Develops, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of the Command Supply Discipline Program.
