Team Lead Warehouse Associate Last Updated Date: Mar 19, 2024 Location: Buford, GA, US, 30518 Company: Doosan Bobcat NA Corp Job InformationObjective is to transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jack or using a lifting device attached to a hoist called out within the standard work.Role & ResponsibilityESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.

Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.

Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.

Follows set route through department to load kit carts.

Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line.

Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment.

Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

OTHER DUTIES:

Keeps aisles clean and orderly.

Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.

Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.

Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.

TEAM LEAD Meet required production schedules while promoting safety, quality, teamwork, lean manufacturing, and sound environmental practices. Ensure consistent application of Standard Work at each workstation through audits and training. Attend daily production, shift, LPMS, Morning Market and other meetings as required. Complete all necessary area communications for subsequent production shifts. Maintain & update cell and team boards. Check part availability and report outages to the appropriate process owner. Coordinate with PCLs to assign workforce according to skill, ability and the format of work area. Identify and work to resolve area bottlenecks to ensure balanced workload. Communicate & track customer emergencies (Hot Parts). Work to perform root cause analysis and eliminate safety and quality concerns. Perform daily 5S, quality, Safety and process audits to assure compliance with Lean Production Management System guidelines. Communicate Safety Alerts. Serve as a point of contact for area new hires; provide training or assign a work shadow as required for new and current employees. Perform all other duties as assignedJob RequirementMust be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.High School Diploma/EquivalentAllow EquivalentExperience: 0>2 yearsThe ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.Travel Standard: <10%
