About the Company We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping / Receiving Technician.About the Role The responsibilities include:
Initial receipt inspection on purchased items and customer product
Review and process documentation in preparation for receiving & shipment of equipment
Packaging and shipping items according to specified requirements or appropriate to part
Housekeeping of Shipping/Receiving Area
Responsibilities
Training:The Shipping / Receiving Technician shall have received training on carrier shipping requirements, Quality Assurance System procedures, and will receive specific training on the applicable company procedures for processes to be performed.Qualifications Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.Required Skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
High level of attention to detail on paperwork and equipment
Ability to continually self-evaluate the accuracy of your work
Ability to focus on routine tasks in a busy environment
Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to recognize different types of equipment
Demonstrated ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. as often as 60 times per day
Demonstrated ability to work in a warehouse environment without heat or air conditioning
Demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work occasional overtime is required
Shall provide their own cell phone with data plan for connection to email and multi-factor authentication
Forklift certification is desirable
